NEW TATULA ELITE - CASTING DISTANCE & DURABILITY The TATULA ELITE was designed and engineered with distance casting as a focus, with features to complement that objective. A variety of engineering technologies combine to make this the one of the longest casting reels on the market. A redesgined A7075 aluminum spool is extremely lightweight, allowing for increased casting distance with minimal effort. The highly-tuned magnetic based Magforce braking system has been tweaked from our industry leading Magforce system to maximize casting distance. The combination of the newly designed spool and the fine tuned braking system allows for an effortless cast, as the startup inertia of the spool is much lower. The Tatula Elite allows for maximum distance with minimum effort. The reel is also equipped with our well known T-Wing System, Zero Adjustor, a 100 sized aluminum frame and sideplate, and a 90mm Swept Handle.  The combination of the newly designed spool, the fine tuned braking system, the T-Wing System and our redesigned lightweight spool truly make the Tatula Elite the race car of casting reels, a valuable long casting tool in the arsenal of any skilled angler. T-WING SYSTEM Daiwa's T-wing System solves an age old problem with baitcasting reel levelwind systems. The "T" aperture allows line to flow freely through the wide top section on the cast, reducing the normally sharp angles and friction that slow line flowing through a narrow aperture when exiting the reel. For retrieve, line drops into the narrow, lower channel of the T-wing for even distribution across the spool width. SWEPT HANDLE Daiwa's exclusive swept handle moves the paddles closer to the rod's centerline. The result is less wobble of the rod and reel in your hand as you crank. That means less wasted energy - a more powerful retrieve. ZERO ADJUSTER Using our ZERO ADJUSTER, it is no longer necessary to adjust the Mechanical Spool Brake Knob when casting. Perfect Zero Adjuster setting is when the spool shaft is held without side to side spool play. Appropriate brake power adjustment is now fully manageable with only the use of the Magnetic dial.
